Owner and Managing Director.  I am often asked why we are called "Three Star" when we deliver a quality service. The reason for the name, is a tribute to my Father the late Bob Dudley, who was very well known in the town. He had a business called Three Star Taxis which operated in the 60's and 70's from High Town rd, before he later started Lutonian Buses.  In those days 4 Star and 5 Star grading didnt exist.

 

I started Three Star Coaches back in 2002 after having sold Lutonian Buses. Over the last 15 years I have enjoyed seeing the company progress and develop into one of the leading coach firms in our area.

Andy North

Chief Engineer. Andy has been with the company almost since its beginning. His expertise and knowledge is arguably the best in our area. His strengths are electrical retification, mechanical and body repairs and paint finishing. He is also a flexible worker and can sometimes be seen driving our coaches.

 

Before joining Three Star, Andy had his own mechancial workshop and operated a coach firm in Leighton Buzzard before selling it to Colin which then later led to the creation of Three Star Coaches.

 

 

 

 

Kevin Green

Kevin Green

Operations Manager. We acquired the services of Kevin with the business acquisition of Buffalo/Seamarks/Dunline Coaches in 2003. Kevin, has remarkble skills in managing complex logisitic coach movements and has a vast knowledge of most coach operators throughout the UK.

 

He is now joint CPC (Certificate of Professional Comptetance) holder which allows him to keep an eye on the business compliances. Like all staff, Kevin is asked from time to time to help out with the driving which he willingly does.

 

 

Peter Nash

Peter Nash

Operations Manager. Peter came to us through the demise of Cedars travel of Bedford in 2014. He is able to adapt to our firms demands, he was recently promoted to operations manager and has managed the challenge with distinction.

 

Peter is also the senior school transport manager and supervises the running of our private school routes to Bedford and Harlington.

Steve Morley

Steve Morley

Sales Manager. Steve came to us in 2013 with no transport background. He is very popular with our customers and is always ready to greet them with a happy smile.

 

He is currently training to obtain his PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license which means that he will be able to offer us greater flexibility in driving our coaches.

 

 

 

 

Lorraine

Lorraine

Administrator. Lorraine joined us in 2007 and has seen the office demands grow. She is always keen and willing to help others and take on tasks without assistance. She particularly enjoys data entry on SAGE and talking to our customers. The energy she brings to her role is felt by all within the office and company.
