Margate or Broadstairs

You can choose between Margate or Broadstairs, dropping people off at Broadstairs first then Margate shortly after as they are approximately 15 minutes apart. Then on the way back we will collect Margate first and Broadstairs again.

A traditional seaside holiday town full of charm, has a world class gallery, sandy beaches, a cool cafe' culture and tempting retro shops, Margate the original seaside, is waiting to welcome you. Margate's old town rejoices in culture vibe-chic eateries, galleries and vintage shops mixed with traditional seaside delights.

Visit the Beach

Put your towels down and make a little spot for yourself to soak up some sun and maybe even take a dip in the water if you feel up to it. 

 

Enjoy lunch at the Old Town

look in some of the lovely independent shops, grab a coffee at one of the many cafes, and take pictures of the historic buildings you’ll pass along the way. 

 

Head to Turner Contemporary

A free fix of cutting-edge art right on the seafront, in a rather spectacular building. Most exhibitions are totally free, and there's often other kinds of events and workshops to get stuck into too.

 

You must visit Dreamland

An amusement park that will keep you and the kids entertained all day long if you want it to. 

 

 

Broadstairs

The charming seaside resort on the Kent coast. Broadstairs spectacular coastline gives you sandy beaches and bucket loads of seaside charm. In Broadstairs you’ll find fishermen’s cottages, clifftop walks and independent shops lining unspoilt streets. The town was Charles Dickens’ favourite holiday spot and his legacy includes Dickens House Museum.

Broadstairs Beaches

Broadstairs has seven gorgeous beaches! In the summertime, spend a day or two relaxing on the sandy Viking Bay, lined with colourful beach huts. You can learn to surf on Joss Bay or admire the white cliffs at Botany Bay.

 

Dickens House Museum

Learn about the legendary author Charles Dickens. The museum is located in a cottage that was Dickens’ inspiration for the home of Betsey Trotwood in David Copperfield.

 

Have a Gelato at Morelli's

 Running since 1932. It serves the most amazing ice cream sundaes, and is decorated in an art deco style.
