THE CHIMNEY LIFT HAS BEEN REIMAGINED FOR ITS THIRD BIRTHDAY
Explore a recreation of architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott’s office, power up sound and movement
at an interactive wall illustrating the story of Battersea Power Station’s construction. Operate a
working model of the power station, operate levers to bring coal from the River Thames and
generate power, and test your knowledge and battle it out at the touchscreen quiz table.

Prepare to ignite your curiosity, immerse your senses and elevate your perspective at London’s most epic viewing experience, The Chimney Lift. Step inside the iconic Battersea Power Station and make a thrilling ascent 109 metres to the top of the north-west chimney where you will take in stunning 360 degree views of London’s skyline. Your journey begins in the Power Station’s magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A, where through a carefully curated exhibition of original records and multimedia displays you’ll discover more about the building’s rich heritage, its architectural significance and enduring presence in popular culture. Continuing onwards and upwards, constellations of light guide your way as the elevator makes its ascent up one of the iconic chimneys and from 109 metres at the top you will take in a panoramic view like no other. Timetable and Pickup Route
You will receive a Final Confirmation a few days before your trip, which will include your specific departure
time from your chosen pickup location. This is because we finalise the pickup route and timetable once all
bookings have been received.
Accessibility:
If you have mobility issues, please inform us in advance, as we occasionally use a double-decker bus during
high demand. Kindly let us know if you require assistance or cannot climb stairs.
Seating and Upgrade Options
Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Upgrade Options:
Select Your Preferred Seat:
Due to high demand for seats near the front, we now offer an upgrade to reserve specific seats in rows 2-5
for an additional £3.00 per person. This allows you to choose your preferred seat closer to the front of the coach.
Front Row Seats:
If you wish to reserve a front row seat, it is available for an additional £6.00 per person.
Please let us know in advance if you would like to upgrade your seating. We’ll do our best to meet your preferences
and ensure a comfortable journey.
NEW Feeder service
There will be occasions when we provide a feeder vehicle to collect you and transport you to meet the main coach.
This will allow us to minimise the pick up times.
Guests who require additional support can request a complimentary carer ticket. Carer tickets provide access to The Chimney Lift experience only and do not include drinks, add-ons or merchandise. Carers must be aged 18 or over How to book Add one carer ticket online when purchasing your tickets. If more than one carer is required, additional carer tickets can be arranged at the Ticket Desk with proof of need. Carer tickets are not available to pre book for some experiences. If you are booking a group, the Early Riser Experience, gift vouchers, gift voucher redemptions or special events, carer tickets can be collected on the day at the ticket desk. Proof required Carer tickets are available with supporting documentation in the guest’s name, dated within the last 3 years. Accepted proof includes: Blue Badge Nimbus Access Card (+1 or Companion symbol) DLA, PIP, Carer’s Allowance or Attendance Allowance award letters CVI/BD8 registration, DID Card, or similar official documents If you have alternative proof, please contact us in advance. Second carer A second carer ticket may be issued with proof that extra support is required (e.g. PIP or DLA stating additional care, GP/NHS letter, or Nimbus Access Card +2). These must be dated within the last 2 years. Please note This scheme is for permanent or long-term accessibility needs only.
