Bure Valley Railway, Lunch & Mississippi Paddle Boat Cruise

Step back in time and immerse yourself in Norfolk’s classic heritage.

Board the Bure Valley Railway, the longest narrow-gauge heritage line in the county

and ride through sweeping countryside to Wroxham.

We begin at Aylsham Station, stopping at The Whistlestop Café for a delicious Roast

Beef or Vegetarian Lasagne lunch and dessert before boarding the steam train for a

scenic 9-mile journey to Wroxham.

Upon arrival, we transfer by coach to Horning, where the Mississippi Paddle Boat awaits.

Enjoy the beauty of the Norfolk Broads with the skipper’s engaging commentary and frequent

wildlife spotter moments, complemented by a soothing soundtrack for the return voyage.

Estimated Itinerary

• Arrive at Aylsham Station at around 11:30

• Sit down in the Whistlestop Café for your meal

• 13:00 Train departs Aylsham

• 13:45 Train arrives at Wroxham Station

• Coach pick-up and drive to Horning

• 15:00 Mississippi Paddle Boat cruise

• 16:30 Return to Horning and coach journey home

If you have mobility issues, please inform us in advance, as we occasionally use a double-decker bus during

high demand. Kindly let us know if you require assistance or cannot climb stairs.

Coach Seating and Upgrade Options

Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Coach Upgrade Options:

Select Your Preferred Seat:

Due to high demand for seats near the front, we now offer an upgrade to reserve specific seats in rows 2-5

for an additional £3.00 per person. This allows you to choose your preferred seat closer to the front of the coach.

Front Row Seats:

If you wish to reserve a front row seat, it is available for an additional £6.00 per person.

Please let us know in advance if you would like to upgrade your seating. We’ll do our best to meet your preferences

and ensure a comfortable journey.

NEW Feeder service

There will be occasions when we provide a feeder vehicle to collect you and transport you to meet the main coach.

This will allow us to minimise the pick up times.
