Book NowSunday 6th September
Canterbury is a charming historic city in England renowned for its stunning cathedral, which is
a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of medieval architecture. The city offers a
rich blend of history, culture, and picturesque streets lined with quaint shops, cafes, and medieval
buildings.
Experience this fascinating Canterbury visitor attraction and discover the citys unique history
from a different angle on one of our guided river tours. Sit back and relax as our tour guides
take you under the Kings Bridge, one of the oldest working road bridges in Britain, up towards
the hidden serenity of the Greyfriars Island, once the home to the Franciscans, one of Canterburys
many religious orders.
As you journey back downstream, you pass by sites such as the sixteenth century Old Weavers
House as well as our replica ducking stool, an infamous part of Englands long and turbulent history.
Past the Marlowe Theatre, the newest addition to Canterburys skyline, you are treated to
such views as the old Blackfriars Monastery, now a proud extension to the prestigious Kings
School, which connects onto the scenic and quiet Sollys Orchard.
Upon arrival in Canterbury we will head straight to the boat tour. We have 3 slots booked at
11.10am, 11.20am and 11.40am. The tours last around 45 mins. After your river cruise you
will have free time to explore Canterbury.
