Brick Lane Music Hall is a totally unique venue, offering a warm welcome and first class entertainment. The only permanent home for British music hall, Brick Lane Music Hall receives worldwide acclaim and attracts audiences from all over the country to its home in Silvertown in Londons Docklands. Named after its original home in Brick Lane, Brick Lane Music Hall is proud of its East London heritage and to be playing an active role in the Borough of Newham, working closely with the local community.
1940 to 1959 is often seen as the Golden Age of Musicals, a period of unparalleled creativity and innovation on stage and screen, producing some of the most beloved and enduring works, with memorable songs and big dance numbers still hugely popular today. Broadway in particular saw an explosion of iconic musicals from the likes of Rodgers and Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein and Frank Loesser. Our show encapsulates all the fun and glamour of a Golden Age.
